There were those that envied us, despised us, and feared us, with, I must admit, good reason. We were becoming gods, and not everyone wants to get down on their knees and worship a god, no matter how worthy that god might be. So they betrayed us. They ambushed and beheaded us without mercy.
It was an end... until Naraku. Living but not truly alive, the Shichinintai were brought back only to die a second time. I sure as hell hate the fact that I couldn't do more for my brothers then...
Yet, here I am again, revived in this world once more. For who and what cause? ...
...Hn, why should I care? I'm standing tall with my precious Banryu in my hands, ready to make the most of what I've got. Nothing less, nothing more.
And as for you... As long as you don't get on my bad side and I'm not recruited to kill you, we should get along just fine.
