  • Description: One night I was bored so I decided to work on my anatomy by making a doodle from scratch. The next day I did some quick research to fix up some flaws (it took me 7 tries to get the left (her right) hand looking normal!). I love this drawing and as I am always looking to improve I posted it here to see what people think! Go for it ^_^

    Any commenters thankyou in advance.
    Any people who give me advice on how to improve thanks HEAPS! <3

    P.S. I made the head big for a more anime-ish look.

  • ... The hips also seem a bit small, her shoulders suggest a slouch, the curve of the mouth is unnatural, and the hair looks a bit choppy and flat. You did a good job on the clothes, however. The way that the folds are portrayed are very natural and smooth. My best advice would be to always plan out what you're going to draw first with an underlying sketch, then go on to the real thing. It'll be much easier that way.

    Eheh, sorry if that sounded a bit harsh, I'm trying to work on that ^^;

  • From XxWorldsWorstAccidentxX:
    Okay, the first thing that jumped at me were the eyes. They're a bit too big, and go too far towards the sides of the face. The hands could also used some work. Try drawing them out as boxes first, and always plan them out to look bigger than what you normally think they should be, because the hands on your drawing are a bit on the small side. The left leg is bothering me as well. Try making the knee bigger if you want to add proportion. ...

  • It's really cute! I agree, the left leg bothers me a little too. But I don't believe I truly have the art skills to critique much. 5/5. <3
