Proportions are pretty good. I would experiment with using different colors for the lights and the shadows. Like dark dark purple or blue for the shadows (instead of black), dark browns for the shadow on the skin and light yellow for some of the light (which you did some), but especially on the outer edges. Also experiment some with reflected color?
Concept is really good, and the emotion is very well portrayed. Look forward to seeing what else you draw. - Report As Spam
