Well, I think you are in the right path. Your skills are already quite good!
As a tip, I suggest you to practice doing hair. Adding some hair strands here and there instead of relying only on the countours always help giving more volume and depth.

Impressive. ^-^ Not amazing at art myself, so I can't give any criticism's without the proper training .. Maybe, if you get really nitty-gritty, I suppose I could say the angle in which the butt of the sword is drawn seems a little off compared to the angle in which the finger is drawn when it comes to the grip... Again, I may be wrong, not to mention the resolution of the picture might be throwing my sight off. ^-^
