  • -continued 6- If you're really having trouble of drawing a certain thing or you can't find a detail that you're looking for asking some to model for you or get an artist's mannequin can really help you (and I'm not saying the simple wood mannequins, I mean a really detailed mannequin with human features). You're at a good start you just need to push yourself a little bit more at getting the right details down.3/5(Sorry if it seemed like I spammed this page. I didn't realize my critique was long)

You got the information down and what most of the body proportions looks like, but you're having trouble trying to get the body to look more realistic, but still sticking to a cartoon-ish style. You should try studying the human anatomy more and learn how the body moves. This way, you'll be able to get a better idea of how to position your characters and they'll become more appealing to viewers. Look online and find some anatomy for artist sheets and observe how the body is drawn.

so it will give viewers a better definition of the neck. I think the last problem I have with this piece is that dent on the top of the woman's head to the right. I know it's the hair style you chose this woman to have, but it literally looks like something slammed into her head and created this huge "crater" in her head. This can be easily fixed by drawing over the line (you can redraw the left side of the head if you really need to). I think your biggest problem is form.

has absolutely no form from below the breasts and around the stomach. I would have to say give this area some more detail (as drawn some visible areas of abs, ...maybe not... but I would like you to draw the line that comes from in between the breasts that goes all the way down until it stops above the belly button (lost the name for it, bear with me)). Now the neck and face are well done, but maybe you can add more detail to the neck by identifying where the neck line is so it

the shoulders out a little more and give them a nice curve (but not so much that it looks like she has dents in her body). Her breasts... I don't know if they are drawn correctly or not (it's probably because of the way you drew the shoulders. I guess if you redraw the areas around the shoulders it'll allow me to help you in that area). I think the place that bothers me the mos, besides the arms, is the lower torso (where the stomach is). It's too flat looking; this woman has

Oh and also redraw the leg so that the metal knee cap is aligned with the left knee cap). Now I look at her arms... way too thin. It looks like she barely has meat on those arms (looks like it just the bones being covered by the skin). Give the poor woman her muscles (and especially because she looks like a warrior, you can't leave out something like that). Her shoulders were drawn oddly as well. It looks too flat and it may be too squished in. I think you should spread the

  • Now you got a pretty good drawing right here (despite the quality). Your anatomy... well it has it's ups and downs. Firstly, I took a good look at her legs; nicely drawn out and looks developed (well except the right leg... it looks really slanted for the pose you were trying to draw and looks too short compared to the left leg. I think the reason why it looks like it's on a slant because she lacks the evidence of another hip. This can be easily corrected by making the other hip visible. Oh and
