Rendered this in 3D modeling class. I was going for the glowing/reflective look. I know it doesn't look 100% like materia from final fantasy, but i just did it for fun.
just in case some people don't know what materia is, it's a little colored ball about the size of a tennis ball that has magical properties like fire, ice, lightening, etc. or can give you special commands in combat like steal, transform, or even a chocobo lure. :) - Date: 02/20/2011
