- Cute. I like the shape of the face as well as your technique for filling in the irises. It's neat, but it's not fantastic. If you really want to make this picture great, shade in the clothing to give it a three dimensional look. Right around where the cloth is wrinkled is a perfect spot for it. Adding color also makes things more notable and pleasing to look at, but the techniques for shading change when you add color. Bottom line: Adding shades increases the picture's quality.
