- The blue color's reason is 1) this piece was part of a series, and therefore my color scheme. 2) I wanted the giraffe to be the main focus, while the child is more of an observer to it's beauty. Though i suppose you have a point, i would dislike a blue giraffe, and making them the same color wouldn't make one stand out as much.
