Sort of an old picture, taken earlier this year. We had a huge rainstorm one night, but it was super cold the next morning and everything got frozen. It's amazing how the weather can alter everyday things you find right outside your door. This is a close-up of a Japanese maple of ours, whose shape I adore.
The neg space in the upper left is a little saddening, but a picture can't be too busy, after all. - Date: 09/17/2008

- WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! Did I let you know this photo made me say "WOW"? The "neg space in the upper left corner" is not enough to distract from the photo. The fact that you got a "red" leaf of a Japanese Maple covered with ice is impressive on its own, plus the color from the light in the ice is great. Great focus too. Follow you dream as a photographer. Good luck to you this week.
