Sort of an old picture, taken earlier this year. We had a huge rainstorm one night, but it was super cold the next morning and everything got frozen. It's amazing how the weather can alter everyday things you find right outside your door. This is a close-up of a Japanese maple of ours, whose shape I adore.
The neg space in the upper left is a little saddening, but a picture can't be too busy, after all. - Date: 09/17/2008

- wow.. This is amazing. First photo in a long time that made me stop and think and well, look in awe. You did an amazing job. It's elegant in a new way. Plus i think the neg space does well to accent the compexity in the leaf and ice
