- Also be careful of your lighting; the kid is very underexposed, you can barely see his face. For photojournalism, everything has to be clear and not artsy, so try and get some good lighting next time (or try dodging him in Photoshop) smile

Photojournalism is taking pictures of real events. There's someone on Gaia who's great at photojournalism (forgot his name though); he takes pictures of political people, burning houses, poverty people etc.
If you wanted to portray poverty in this shot, having a skinny child playing in the dirt would probably portray it better than a kid - fully dressed - standing near some toys. But hey, nice try. - Report As Spam
