In Old Norse, the word is spelled víkingr. The word appears on several rune stones found in Scandinavia. In the Icelanders' sagas, víking refers to an overseas expedition (Old Norse fara í víking "to go on an expedition"), and víkingr, to a seaman or warrior taking part in such an expedition.

- pretty good... there are better pants for this though... and a type of gladiator esque sandal would've been better, but very nice job! 4/5! rtf and vote for me please? <3

I think it could have been better.
I think you could have made it from a certain areas seeing as most vikings from say Iceland that ran with Eric the Great looked different than others.
I do applaud you though, seeing as I am part 'viking'. :3
