- Description: Hope found herself in a tight spot when a peasant uprising against her father left her facing the stake. In a moment of desperation, she spoke an incantation heard from her father which summoned a demon. In exchange for her humanity, he rescued her from death and she was transported to the infernal realms. She allied herself with an exiled craftsman. While speaking to him, she declared that the innocent woman she had once been was dead and that she would henceforth only be known as Lady Death.
