Duo is Pilot 02 in the anime Gundam Wing. He wears this outfit in the movie Endless Waltz. The scythe and bat wings represent that his gundam is Deathscythe. In the manga Gundam Wing: Episode Zero, it says that Duo was an orphan on the streets who was found and raised in a church. Oz destroyed the church and killed the ones who raised him. Duo then went to Earth and joined a group opposing Oz. Working in this group led him to 'steal' his gundam.

This is great! I haven't seen a good gundam wing character in a long time!
and actually, the sythe works. in the, i think, fourth episode, first manga, Duo busts Heero out of the hospital and Heero jumps from a window with a parachute leaving Duo with no escape plan. As Heero falls, we see that Duo has a mini, plasma sythe that spins at the blade and allows him to safely decend to the ground. - Report As Spam
