To Astro Girl: Actually, Ellis is the first one to say "Kill all sons of bitches." Rochelle then repeats it to him later after he is saved from a Smoker and the group is about to encounter a crapload of Infected.
Furthermore, Ellis DOES have a tattoo on his arm, which he says means, "I'm a bad a** zombie killing machine!"
