Athena is the Greek goddess of Wisdom.She was born from her father Zeus and sprung out of his head in full body armor.
So here is my take on Athena. She is the symbol of great thoughts and ingenuity. The shield is supposed to be Aegis, the sheild she carries for her father. The small bird is supposed to be the owl which I hear was sacred to her. The concept was from my own mind I had no picture refference for her. - Date: 01/31/2010

- Well, Percy Jackson and the Olympians is not the only story in which the gods of Olympus have been in stare Why don't you go read some actual books on Greek mythology...it might surprise you to find out how good the stories are. Not that PJO is bad. I happen to like it.

- The Snowfeather is a representation of the owl. Athena's sacred bird. I picked the snow bird because I thought it was cute and I like the idea of a cute owl for Athena.
