- Description: Miyo is a lovely woman who works at the local clinic in Hinamizawa. Her grandfather's study of Hinamizawa Syndrome and it's reception by the scientific community was one of the turning points in her life. After she spends the festival with the visiting photographer Tomitake, the news of their death/disappearance afterwords marks the dark beginning of the many mysteries of the series.
