- Obviously when I see somebody at a con, hypothetically, I don't ask for a reference. But when somebody at a con signs up for the costume contest, there has to be a method of contrast given by the contestant. People walking around in there cosplays may/may not have a ref on them, because it isn't an official contest. Which this is. So the first example takes effect. Refs = Necessary. Second Verse. Same as the last 20 verses.
