While that is true there is one problem with your thinking, gaia provides an item that allows one to change the gender, in real life this is not possible. Because we can so conveniently change our genders here if one does not change the gender of the avatar for a cosplay they will be downvoted no matter what. That is, unless they can provide a valid argument for not changing the gender. - Report As Spam

- i dont know if genderbent is suppose to be original or cosplay. me personally, id think it would still be cosplay. i mean goin to conventions u see a man dressed as a woman, or woman dressed as their favorite male character, and we still say thats cosplayin, so why should this be any different. or if its a child cosplayin, but for something that is older than they are. i think u get my point. anyway ur madhatter is definately lacking. i suggest changing the bow tie, getting a background.

- @ AnnaVonHelsing - the terms say "if your avatar is dressed up like a well-known character/object/animal". This avi is BASED on a well known character. Last I check the Mad Hatter from the exact movie doesn't look like that.

It clearly states that if you portray a person, place, or thing... It IS a cosplay.
