- Even in real life, if you wanted to enter a cosplay contest, you would have to go into it expecting flaws to be pointed out, and criticism to be given. It's fine to cosplay just for fun, (I've done it several times myself) but if you enter a competition, you will be judged on accuracy and quality, and those who do so are not doing it to pick on you. They are giving you advice.

- It isn't being mean, elitist or "too serious" to ask questions or point out flaws when someone has ENTERED A COMPETITION IN ORDER FOR THEIR EFFORT TO BE JUDGED. It's frankly rude (and immature) to whine about being given polite, honest constructive criticism and advice from people. They are helping you improve the thing you submitted for them to comment on and judge.

- Well. This is a contest, where one might assume people enter to try and get at the top spot. No one knows who's entering for fun or not. I assume people enter the arena because it is fun for them, they show off their hard-worked cosplay and get comments on what works and doesn't.

- Sadly that's just the way things are around here hun. Too many elitists and most people like a few of my friends enter for fun and not treat it as a serious competition. Then theres the people who are like "hurr durr cospray arena is serious business desu" Its a real shame sad

- Wow, you are all way too serious. My apologies for assuming people just wanted to have some fun and not be overly-concerned about unimportant details. It's clear to me this place is just full of negativity and I am so done with it, now.

- The whole idea of the cosplay arena is to try to aim for accuracy. Most people here rate on accuracy. There's no need for you to be adding extra things that aren't relevant to the accurate representation. If you want to add your own things, put it in the "Original Avatar Arena".
