Gajeel Redford, the Iron Dragon Slayer, was originally a member of the Phantom Lord guild. After the war with Fairy Tail, the guild was disbanded, and he eventually became a member of Fairy Tail itself!
Gajeel is the boyfriend of Levy McGarden. While not usually tied to any specific team, preferably a lone wolf, he teams up with Levy, Natsu, and the others on occasion.
