We laughed and we ran,
Playing tag, you're it.
We stopped long enough for a bite,
Oh what a picnic lunch we had.
I was chasing butterflies,
While my dog chased his tail,
There was such laughter and glee,
Having fun in the park,
Until it got dark,
Then home we went,
My dog and I,
