This young boy brought it down to his room where the doll played with him every night while everyone in his house was asleep. And as the boy grew old, he grew farther and farther away from this doll. - I would have to agree with Magic completely. If you had said something like "This is my avatar, how do you like it?" it would have made more sense. But I'm assuming you used the doll concept because you didn't match it very well. At least with a story like that you could get away with a bad avie, but then that goes right back to his point - it doesn't coordinate in with the story. Sorry, 1/5.
