Indrias guards the doorway
Where the twilight goes,
As night falls, shapes stir,
Locals gather to witness the show.
Their pilgrimage is rewarded
Indrias, with silent grace,
Steps down from her pedestal
Raising enchanted mace.
The guests watch transfixed
As her spells fill the night,
Colours racing to and fro,
Children cheer with delight.
With one last gasping breath
She chants her final charm.
And the door so carefully guarded,
Can cause no nightly harm.
