- Title: Widow's Weeds
- Artist: Lady_Eldae
- Description: In the Victorian era, rules for mourning were quite complex, especially for widows. Widows were expected to remain in full mourning for a year and day, after which they would transition through various stages of partial mourning. "Widow's weeds" is also used more generally to describe cultural rituals associated with death, particularly the death of a spouse. This avatar is a literal version of a widow, scouring the weeds for her husband's remains.

- No. They usually wore dark, drab clothing. Nothing as ornate or flashy as this. And they always wore a veil, which is what the "weeds" really were. This avatar is just a literal interpretation of the words.

- need a bit more weeds, but its lovely and deserving of a 5. On a note of curiosity I thought white muslin was traditional mourning matereal - were the dresses really so ornate?
