I only know to grow
I don’t care what others think of me
I just feel the pull of the sun, telling my limbs to stretch towards it
When I am pruned or cut I do not shrivel with fear or anger
I do not use words like “can’t” or “won’t”
I was made to bloom and grow and so I do
To thank life and celebrate another day of existence
