Young Fafnir flew the edges of earth and space to find one fit to call him master. One day he found Rikek, a lone warrior. Fafnir was fleeing from a dragon named Ifrit. Rikek saved Fafnir that day, defeating Ifrit. Fafnir was indebted to him, and the two found companionship for the first time.
