Once, he was a brash and arrogant Hunter. Powerful and skilled, he took three others on a Hunt for the Devourer, boasting that they would be the ones to strike it down.
He returned years later, a changed man. The scarf of one of the hunter around his neck. His voice never rose above a whisper again. What happened on that Hunt can only be guessed at, and will always be a story woven in the dark of night.
