• Artist Info: I have probably read about 1,000 books in my life. I love "The Lord of the Rings", and the other books about Tolkien's Middle-Earth and the surrounding lands. I hate Obama, and democrats, and the way government is becoming exceedingly large as of late. But, unfortunately, I am virtually powerless to change said government. I am an artist: a writer, a drawer, a painter, and mainly a musician (clarinet, piano, and violin) and composer. J'adore musique. I am obsessed with A Fire Inside (AFI), and am hoping to purchase a full membership to the Despair Faction in the coming weeks. Sixx:A.M. is another favorite band of mine. Those two bands have gotten me through some dark times.
"Through our bleeding, we are one."
"Am I the star beneath the stairs? Am I the ghost upon the stage? Am I your anything?"
"Nothing from nowhere, I'm no one at all."
"Light, like a flutter of wings. Feel your hollow voice rushing into me as you're longing to sing. So I, I will paint you in silver. I will wrap you in cold. I will lift up your voice as I sink."
"Will you join me in this dance, this dance of misery, cradled in impossibility?"
"It won't be all right, despite what they say. Just watch the sky as stars go out."
"Under the summer rain, we burned away. Under the summer rain, you turned away."
"Poison hearts will never change."
"The winds carry sorrow..."
"Everyone's eyes are blue, and everyone's mouth is dry, and nobody wants to die in Van Nuys."
"There's nothing like a trail of blood to find your way back home."
"Will you swear on your life that no one will cry at my funeral?"
"When you've lost it all, that's when you finally realize that life is beautiful."
"I'm facedown on the tracks, the train is coming fast, and it's not derailing. It's not the first time, and this won't be the last, that my heart is failing."
"Day 1. Dope free. I went to the clinic today and got my first dose of methadone. I'm out of dope so I threw away all my rigs.
Day two. I can't believe it's been two days without junk. Fucking smack, it just ruins peoples' lives. At first it seems so sweet, and then you wake up next to a monster.
Day three. I haven't had anything for three days now. This withdrawal is killing me. It's like shock therapy to my guts.
Day four. Last visit to the clinic. My whole body feels like it's cracking into pieces. Fragile doesn't even come close to describing how I feel.
Day five. I'm sick as a dog, but this handful of painkillers and a lotta whiskey's gonna get me through.
Day six. When I'm left to my own devices I go fucking insane. I'll never use heroin again.
Day seven. I can't believe I'm clean!
Day eight. Everyone says I look better.
Day nine. The parasites are panicking.
Day ten. They seem amazed that I'm alive!"
"We held hands on the last night of earth. Our mouths filled with dust, we kissed in the fields and under trees, screaming like dogs, bleeding dark into the leaves. It was empty on the edge of town but we knew everyone floated along the bottom of the river. So we walked through the waste where the road curved into the sea and the shattered seasons lay, and the bitter smell of burning was on you like a disease. In our cancer of passion you said,

"Death is a midnight runner." The sky had come crashing down like the news of an intimate suicide. We picked up the shards and formed them into shapes of stars that wore like an antique wedding dress. The echoes of the past broke the hearts of the unborn as the ferris wheel silently slowed to a stop. The few insects skittered away in hopes of a better pastime. I kissed you at the apex of the maelstrom and asked if you would accompany me in a quick fall, but you made me realize that my ticket wasn't good for two.

I rode alone. You said, "The cinders are falling like snow." There is poetry in despair, and we sang with unrivaled beauty, bitter elegies of savagery and eloquence. Of blue and grey. Strange, we ran down desperate streets and carved our names in the flesh of the city. The sun has stagnated somewhere beyond the rim of the horizon and the darkness is a mystery of curves and lines. Still, we lay under the emptiness and drifted slowly outward, and somewhere in the middle in the wilderness we found salvation scratched into the earth like a message. "
