    Yo everyone, happy winter to you! We got a bit of snow over here, but it melted pretty fast. As of today, I'll be accepting requests for poetry. My skills have been languishing in the jail of formal writing for far too long. Pick from acrostic, haiku, or otherwise. To make it a bit more interesting, you can even pick one word that has to be used in it. Of course, I can refuse the request if I don't like it. Thanks! ^^<br />

    I am a real person with a million friends, a cell phone, and a younger brother.<br />
    I am 19 years old with my own car and apartment.<br />
    I write for a living and earn just enough to stay alive.<br />
    My favorite color is red and my favorite element is fire.<br />
    I hate anime and manga specifically.<br />
    Guns are the awesomest weapon.<br />

    Guns are NOT the awesomest weapons. Katana, wakizashi, kodachi, and tanto are.<br />
    I am a VERY literate expert who gets 97 percent in spelling in PSATs.<br />

    Tricked it, not again!<br />
    Fixed it? Really?<br />
    No? Then tell me when.    <br />

    <br />
    I am Hidden in Shadows.<br />
    Beware the night, lest you fall into its grasp.<br />
    Koryuu save you if you do.<br />
    This is the only warning you will recieve<br />
    Before plunging to its depths.<br />

    -Shadow: Takagawa Yan
    <br />
    <br />
    Truth is truth, sometimes hidden in lies.<br />
    How can you tell before the sunrise?<br />
    Run closer to the light, and your shadow gets longer.<br />
    Run closer to the dark, and your shadow gets stronger.<br />
    Walk in the middle, neither dark nor light.<br />
    You are the balance that keeps them eternally separated.<br />

    In the woodland, lush or fallow<br />
    Is the way the ninja runs.<br />

    A noiseless shadow in the night<br />
    Invisible in daytime light<br />
    Unseen within enemy sight<br />
    Is the way the ninja hides.<br />

    A glance, a slash of tempered steel<br />
    A hit, yet pain they do not feel<br />
    A flash; our foes grim fates they seal<br />

    Cold, resolute, emotionless<br />
    Jade glare turning foes defenseless<br />
    Final blow not stayed, relentless<br />
    Is the way the ninja slays.<br />

    Wary, cautious, never resting<br />
    Alert, waiting, always testing<br />
    Tensely silent, eyes still questing<br />
    Is the way the ninja sleeps.<br />

    Wisely striking after thought<br />
    The war will then be won when fought<br />
    Cunning, so they never get caught<br />
    The way the ninja thinks.<br />

    They know when to run from a fight<br />
    They never do abuse their might<br />
    The loyal, they protect the right<br />
    This is the ninja way.<br />
