  • Artist Info: My name is L Lawliet and there was a time when I was the greatest detective in the world. However, I fell to the evil Kira and remained as a spirit watching him slowly destroy Japan and almost America.<br />
    <br />
    My successors Near and Mello reluctantly cooperated and took down Kira. Mello sacrificed himself for the greater good and Near put Kira into a corner where he could do nothing.<br />
    <br />
    Now there are two versions of this story but they still have the same ending. Kira died by the hands of a shinigami in front of Near or Kira was shot, escaped and died from his wounds.<br />
    <br />
    Regardless of which one is true. I was able to move on to the afterlife where my heaven became a place full of endless sweets. Here I live in peace and Kira lives in nothingness.
