    Background: Yori ( Yoshi Onii-tan to Hitomi) was an only child. Both his parents died when he was 9 years old. Because of his parents' wills, he wasn't to be put into an orphanage; they thought the other kids would be bad influences and affect how his future would turn out. None of his family members would take him into their care though. So he's been living on his own ever since. He found an abandoned building that he stayed in until he was 15. That's when he ran into Hitomi Takahashi. She was being chased by some creature (as she explains it) when she ran into the lake where Yori was washing. That very day, Yori found his weapon that he weilds, and a new place to stay. He also had to swear his life to protecting Hitomi.<br />

    Background: She is daughter of a very wealthy family. The mansion she lives in has about 5 servants though. She has lived a great life, happily living with her family. Nothing could make it any better except... There have been rumors that this child has dark abilities. Beasts are attracted to her for some reason. And she finds herself getting weird feelings about certain things. That's why she was running that day. When Hitomi was running, she actually ran into Yori's half naked body. She franticly scattered behind him when the creature arrived. Now Yori was freaked out. Hitomi doesn't know what happened but suddenly Yori came out with a gigantic axe and destroyed the thing. Yori wouldn't let her go anywhere alone, so he escorted her back home. That's when he was invited to stay in their mansion and serve them.<br />
