• Artist Info: Greetings fair traveler, you may call me Frostail. I am a warrior of the Koori kitsune of the North, one of the best, and have been taught the ways of the ice, and light elements and the ways of the blade by my honorable sensei Soshiken-sama. He is the teacher, and leader of the seven great kitsune warriors of our tribe, and I have been granted the honor of learning from his teachings long ago, that are only to be utilized by, and trained to these seven elite individuals. Yet, I have never been able to fully unlock the potential of his techniques as of yet, and was caught practicing these somewhat forbidden teachings one day as I carelessly left myself in the open. After many scoldings and insults, many of them resulting in physical pain, I was shunned from the place I had previously called home. I am now a wandering kitsune, always on the run from the ones who I once knew as my family, who now hunt me for sport. No matter where I go though, a pack always seems to trace my steps, and senseless bloodshed will always follow... As I travel from area to area avoiding my ex-comrades, I will try my hardest to help anyone in need that may need it. For I am quite aware of the pain and suffering that they must endure, and my own experience in this, drives me to never let that happen to anyone else if I can help it. I must admit though, I am almost always in hopes of earning a place to stay for the night, as well as to be treated to a delightfully warm meal before I am off again to keep the Northern tribe from catching up to me. If that were to happen all would be lost. But this way of living was not all for nothing, for I have not quit on my training, and have developed a sword style after many grueling weeks of practice, that combines the usage of my current elements and binds them into my blade, creating a devestating attack with the combined forces of the sharpeness of the sword, the burning rays of light, and the boreal chill of ice. I have also created a sort of... cheap trick, but I will not delve much farther into this than what I already have. During my travels, I had recently run into a very warmhearted, spirited, and Audacious fellow who seems to be running from something as well... I wonder what it may be? Perhaps he is being hunted as well? Bah, it is not my place to dwell on these things. It his is own personal matter, not mine. I was quite startled when he suddenly asked to join me though I gladly accepted, quite pleased that once again I am in the company of an ally, too many years have I been alone, and now is my chance to prove my worth to a friend. And one that may have been through the same trials as I have as well. Quite an interesting thought. I just hope that he is ready for the time when the Northern Tribe finds me...
Hmm.... that is right, I haven't mentioned as to what I look like, have I? Very well... I shall tell you if you wish it. I have several forms that I use when either the time comes, or I get bored. The first is my human form, which dons a pair of gray-black fox ears, and a brilliant white tail which I am very proud of. I occasionally have four instead of one when I am threatened, or just showing off. And Lastly, I have long white hair that glistens, flamboyantly. My senses are also greatly enhanced, and unmatched by a normal human. The second form is a half human-half fox form. When I shift into this form, I tend to take the features of a fox more then a human. You see, in this form I have the white fur, the ears, the muzzle, the four tails, and I can easily change my gait from walking on two feet, to running on all fours quite comfortably. Although it is not as fast as my pure vulpes form which I shall explain. In my vulpes (animal fox form) morph, I take on all the feral instincts, and aggression of a common fox, yet these traits are inhanced two-fold. My speed is roughly unmatchable by any other being... that I have met so far in my travels of course, and I can sense danger miles away.
Now, I must bid you farewell, for the life of a wandering swordsman is always full of adventure.
