• She was lost and she knew it. She sat down and put her head between her knees to stave off the dizziness. All these mirrors, they followed her like shadows. Multiplying the little sanity she had left into so many monsters. They distorted her reflection like fun house mirrors, or was that just her tearing eyes? They were causing her to lose her way again and again. Constantly arriving at dead-ends was eating away at her. She could never keep a map in her head before, how could she now under all this pressure? She had to find them soon! She didn't know who "they" were or why they were about to die, but the one thing she did know was that she was the only one who could save them.
She closed her eyes. Then opened them quickly. She couldn't fall asleep! She had to find them! She picked herself up slowly, all the aches and pains from before. . .before what? What had she done to make herself so sore?
She walked for what seemed like hours. Turning at random intervals, not sure where she was going. The mirrors seemed to move, to circle around her faster and faster. She tried turning right and went left instead. She couldn't keep track of what was up and what was down.
She fell down hard. So dizzy and tired that she didn't even notice that she had broken one of the mirrors. The last thing she saw was a dark door opening and someone entering the Mirror Maze.
