• One day, I was chilling out, eating some Cheerios, just making myself comfortable. Everything was going right today. Tokyo had never been busier, and the stock market was doing fine. We had nothing to worry about.

    That is, until today.

"Breaking News! Urgent!" the tv yelled at me from the other room.
Thanks to The Year 2319's amazing technology (The Year 2319 is a company that makes voice-activated televisions. Weird name, huh?) I yelled "Volume up! 3 notches!" and I could hear the television better.

"Godzilla is attacking Tokyo! Everybody run for your lives!"

    "Tv off." I said.

    Well. Godzilla. I walked outside.
Sure enough, outside, there was Godzilla, stomping around. Rodan was flying around after Godzilla, trying to be the hero that would stop him.
    Godzilla batted him away easily.

"Well then. I should probably get out of here. I'll take a shower first." I said. After my shower, I packed my valuables up, while Godzilla was screeching about something. Then I got to my ridiculoudly tiny car and knew I would have to leave something behind.

    "My toothbrush!" I immediately yelled.

So I ditched the toothbrush, and drove off. The toothbrush being gone didn't help.

    "Actually, I think I'll walk."

So I did. I walked over the downed power lines, ambled along the now ruined bridge. Then Godzilla's foot missed me by an inch.

"Hey, watch where you're going, buddy!" I yelled.

Godzilla seemed sorry. Or maybe he was hungry. Hard to tell from a giant mutant lizard.

So amongst all of that, people were screaming, shooting themselves, boarding ships and airplanes. I just kept on walking.

There was a sign that said "Detour."
I decided not to. I'd take the long way, get a little exercise.

"Oh crap! I forgot my cell phone!" I screamed.
So I went back to my house to get it.
    My house was ruined.
"I'll just use a pay phone if I have to."

The streets were abandoned and quiet except for Godzilla's screams. He ran into the power lines a couple of times, and it was funny to watch him writhe in pain.

Then I decided, after the stealth bombers flew in, that I should probably make my way out of Tokyo.
So I did, but it took a while because the streets were ruined.
But that's how I took my sweet time when Godzilla was attacking Tokyo.
