• Chapter: Brother's Proposition

A group of five men entered a large castle with the their leader leading the way. The only source of light came from the torches hanging on the wall which were dim to begin with. Four men shook with fear, but one, which was the leader did not. The leader was wrapped in thick clothing, had leather gloves, a scarf around his mouth, and a pair of sunglasses resting on his face.
Their footsteps echoed through the castle with each step they took. The light of the torches showed the paleness of the leaders skin and the veins bulging on his face. After a few minutes dragged by they heard a loud roar echo through the castle. The four men froze and shook with fear, but the leader merely haulted and balled his fist.
"Sir," said one of the men. "We should leave. We are no match for a vampire."
"You may not be." The leader slowly turned around to face the men. He pulled his scarf to reveal razor sharp fangs and a twisted smile. "But i am."

Just then the fire in the torches estinguished and the room was filled with darkness. The men screamed as they heard yet another roar echo through the castle. Their screaming soon came to an abrupt end and was replaced by the sound of their blood splashing on the floor.
The lights from the torches returned and standing across from the former leader was a man about his height. He had long white hair, red eyes, fangs and claws, and his skin was pale. He wore very formal clothes with a katana sheathed at his side. He stared at the leader with great intesity.
"Why have you brought humans here, brother. You know it is against the creed."
    Only silence came.
    "Miguel, ANSWER ME!"
There was another moment of silence which was broken by Miguel's manical laughter. It echoed through through the castle and seemed like there were copies of him joining in on his laughter. "Because Requiem, i have much bigger plans, and the creed is only restricting them."
"What do you mean," asked Requiem.
Miguel smiled. "The Vampire's Creed states that we vampires must not harm the humans unless it self defense, and that we only feed when we must." Miguel's smile grew. "What i have in plan is much bigger. We are superior to the humans. We can easily rule over them."
"But we do not wish to. We only wish to have peace with them. We only wish to coexist. And that doesn't explain why you are here."
"I came here because i have a proposition for you, brother."
    "And what is that?"
Miguel then extended his arm. "Join me in my mission and together we can rule over the humans and the other vampires. We only have to take out the current king."
Requiem drew his sword. "You plan to take down father. I would never join you. You have allowed your sight to become clouded. You are a fool."
Miguel held up his hand and a long sword appeared in it. "Too bad. I thought we could work together. But you know what they say." He held his sword higher and got into his fighting stance. "You can't work with family."

They both charged at each other with amazing speed. They brought their swords back and prepared for the first blow of their epic fight.
