• Mother: You won't kill me will you?
    Man: It is my duty to kill you woman. You are protecting the child. I have to see you are out of my way.
    Mother: You mean the king's way. (backing away while holding the child Sorra in her arms...) You won't touch her! I will see to that.
    Man: (moving towards her and lifting his curved sword) Stand down, woman!
    Mother: (crying) No! I will not stand down. (frowning)
    Man: (laughing in amusment) Then that will cost you the child instead of you. Would you rather die or the child.
    Mother: Why does it matter? You will just kill the child anyway unless I fight! (grabbing the sword by the blade and drawing back, holding her bloody hand, crying out in pain)
    Man: You stubborn woman! Why can't you face the truth that you are vulnarable? Why can't you face that you are weak, spineless? (He held the sword and stabbed the woman in her wrist.)
    Sorra: (Crying)
    (Thunder flashes and the man falls off the boat. Sorra cries harder and the man sinks to the bottom)

    The ship arrives on the coast line and a woman picks up the injured baby.
    Widow: You will be my new baby girl, my beloved child. (walks away with the child in her arms)
