• I had that dream again, the one that always end the same. “Are you lonely?” He asks as I awake from my slumber. I look to him and quietly smile and say, “Yes.” He frowns as he now hovers over me. “Why?” He asks. I smile again, “Because I drove them away.” He stares at me. “Why?” He asks again. I smile even wider, “Because I loved them too much.” He kneels down right in front of me. “Does that mean I’ll leave you too?” He says looking deeply into my eyes. I smile again. “Yes.” I look to the sky. “Everyone I love leaves me.” I say as I lay on my back. I see him now standing over me. He carries a worried look on his face, “I don’t want to leave you.” I smile, “Maybe not now but soon.” I smile even wider, “I have ways of making you want to hate me. To want to leave me. To make you disgusted with me.” I look at him still smiling, “I’m already doing things to make it so.” He frowns. “Why do you do such things?!” I stop smiling, “Because I hate myself.” He reaches out to touch me. I slap his hand away. “Don’t touch me!” I get up and walk away. “This is how it feels to love me.” He continues to look at me, tears in is eyes as I walk away and leave him behind. The dream ends.
