• Kidnapped

We argued all night about where I was staying, Shade and Cody insisted I stayed at the house with them and I wanted to go home to my house. After about an hour of fighting they both gave and took me home. Upon approaching my door Shade caught my shoulder and spun me around to face him. “Just be safe ok I don’t want anything happening to you.” He gave me a quick kiss on my forehead and swiftly and quickly went back to the car. I watched the car disappear then went inside. “Dad I’m home.” I hung up my coat and went to the kitchen. “Hey honey how was it?” my dad was sitting at the table eating a TV dinner. “It was okay, I had fun at least.” I searched through the fridge for something edible to eat; as usual it was empty. “I’m going to grab a bite to eat, there’s nothing here I want to eat.” He got out of his seat and blocked the door. “Your not going anywhere young lady, it’s to late.” I rolled my eyes and gave a small smile. “I was going to call Jessica to go with me so don’t worry.” I moved him out of the way and went out the front door. I stood at the edge of the driveway and pulled out my phone from my pocket to call Jessica. “Hello?” “Hey Jess did you just get dropped off?” “Yea the guys are still here why?” I bit my lip. “Can I talk to Shade please.” There was no answer. “Hello.” “Hey Shade I know you just left but, my dad doesn’t have anything edible for me to eat and I was planning to go pick up something but, after our little trip I kind of don’t like going on my own.” I wanted to tell him about my little encounter, I hated lying to him “Sure just let me drop off Cody and I’ll be there as soon as I can.” I hung up the phone and sat on the ground, bringing my knees to my chest. Didn’t realize it was so cold out.

I saw the blue jeep that I recognized from before and quickly got to my feet. I smiled widely as the car drove up. “Hey cutie hop on in.” there was amusement in his voice and I couldn’t help but laugh. He leaned over to open the door for me. “Huh and some say chivalry is dead.” He chuckled a bit and I got in the car. “So where are you planning to go?” I shrugged my shoulders. “Don’t know anywhere with good food I guess.” He gave me a wide smile. “I know a perfect place.” I hooked up my MP3 player to his radio and put on Vulnerable by Secondhand Serenade. “What got you so freaked that you wanted to make me come along?” I sighed. “Something happened in the woods, something bad.” I rolled down my window and let the cold air rush through the car. “So what happened?” I shook my head and stuck my head out the window. “Never mind.” We stopped at Romero’s Pizzeria, not very fancy but it will do. “You go on ahead in I’ll catch up.” He nodded his head and left me alone in the car. After a few minutes of putting my thoughts together I got out. “Well nice to meet you again.” I looked up and the boy that I ran into at McDonalds was standing across the street with four maybe five other boys. “What do you want?” the group took a few steps closer and I was backed up against the car. “I never got my kiss that night you know.” I clenched my fists ready to hit the car to make its alarm go off. “You’re never going to get that kiss I’m saving it for someone else.” He grabbed me by the wrists and pulled me away from the car. “C’mon don’t you want to come with us I’m sure he’ll understand.” I struggled to pull my hands free. “Never, let me go now.” They wrapped a gag around my mouth and tied my legs and arms with chains. “Say goodnight.” He hit me so hard in the head that I blacked out.

When I came to I was tied down to a chair and the place smelled of rotten meat. “Morning.” I realized they had taken me to a meat warehouse the thought of being surrounded by dead carcasses made me nauseous. I tried my best not to hurl. “What are you planning to do with me?” he chuckled a bit. “Maybe a little kissing first then a little game maybe.” “What kind of game?” “Well maybe the game first then I could kiss your dead carcass.” This guy was totally nuts. “What do you mean by dead carcass?” he paced in front of me then smirked. “A game I like to call chase or be killed.” One of the other boys released me. “I’ll give you a five minute head start.” He took out a knife and sliced across my chest. “Good luck.” He must have done it to find me easier. I took the nearest weapon I could find, a metal pole that was about ten feet long, and ran for it. I weaved through the dead cow bodies trying to find a place to hide. I heard a few gunshots, must have meant they started. I ripped off a long strand of my shirt and wrapped up the knife wound. My nausea was getting worse I couldn’t stand the smell of this place. I tried to reach for my phone but it was missing. “Come out come out where ever you are.” I had to think fast before they find me. I was so sick I couldn’t even walk straight and I was so dizzy I couldn’t see either. I collapsed in a corner and brought my knees to my chest. “There you are.” There I was huddled in a corner with a gun held to my head. “Well not fun really but I guess it was good while it lasted.” He kneeled down to my height and traced his fingertips across my cheek. “Aren’t you going to call your boyfriend?” he took my leg and slammed it in an angle that made something snap. “Stop it please.” I clenched my fists and I punched him in the gut, he let go and I tried to make a run for it. “You little wretch.” They grabbed me by my legs and arms and lifted me off the ground. “You’ll regret doing that.” He pulled out a gun and held it up to my forehead. “Any last words?”

So this is it this is how it ends, me being killed by a bunch of crazy lunatics. “Crysstal, Crysstal you here?” I suddenly busted into tears. “Shade, Shade help me!” they threw me and I slammed into the wall. Past the boys I saw him, my savior who would rescue me the only person I wanted. “Crysstal, what have you done to her!” he was growling fiercely, showing his teeth. When they were all distracted I struggled to my feet and limped over to him. They shot at me and nicked my shoulder, his growling got worse as he reached out to grab me and threw me behind him. “You’ll regret ever doing this to her.” I clutched onto his shirt tightly. “Shade let’s just get out of here.” “Yea lover boy, we’ll take care of her.” One of the boys grabbed my hand that was hanging onto Shade and pulled me away, “Let me go!” There was suddenly a scream, Shade bit into the boy’s arm to make him let go. He bit it hard enough to make it bleed then released him, throwing his arms over me protectively. “You touch her again and your going to wish you were dead.” The boys’ arm was quivering like a bow’s string. “What the hell man?” The boy’s started to gang up on him, he tighten his grip around me and then threw me to the side. “Get out of here Cryss now!” I froze, those were the exact words my mother told me when I had to run, and I’m not listening this time. “No Shade I’m not abandoning you like I did my mother.” I gritted my teeth then tackled two of the boys away from him. One held me to the ground and the other was over me. “You’re going to regret doing that.” He held a knife above me and dug it into my shoulder, making me scream at the top of my lungs.

“Cryss no!” Shade threw the other two boys into the ones that were surrounding me and quickly picked me up off the ground. “Hang on.” I gripped onto his shirt and he quickly got out of there and rushed me back to the car in under a few minutes. “We’re taking you to the hospital now.” “Shade no if my dad finds out he’ll kill me.” He quickly got in the driver’s side with me in his lap and gunned it.
