    Mike slowly walked into the forest listening to everything around him. The branches of the trees slightly moved with the wind. A blue bird quickly flew past his head for her nest of young birds. A small mouse ran under his feet from a bird finding its hole nearly escaping death. He heard all these sounds, but he couldn’t find the one he wanted.
    He finally heard a small thump and soon after a running sound. He quickly turned about and grabbed his sister’s arm. ”Sam,” he said letting out a small breath of relief, ”I finally found you.” he smiled at her happily.
    Samantha yanked her arm out of his grasp and began running away again. ”Leave me alone Michael" she yelled with a raspy voice. Mike quickly grabbed her arm again, holding tighter this time. She yanked again but couldn’t get out of his grip. Finally stopping she let out a sigh, ”How did you find me?” she asked not looking back at him.
    He smiled, ”I am a vampire Sam, I can hear anything and everything. I can track a person’s scent, even a half vampire.” he said pulling her along with him. ”Now, let’s go home.” he looked back and smiled again still dragging her along against her will.
    ”No! Let me go, I do not want to go back there.” she planted her feet in the ground hopping to slow her brother down.
    Mike stopped and sighed, ”Sammy, you just turned 16. Act your age and tell me why you’ve been acting weird.” he looked at her pleading letting his grip loosen on her wrist for only a second.
