• There was a small breeze rustled the leaves in the trees. An Absol nudged Latios, who was in human form, trying to waking him from his slumber. “Ranger here and you should wake up Mithro. We should get moving soon.” he said giving him a nudge tough enough to wake him.

Mithro groaned as he sat up from his grassy bed in the shade of a tree. His red eyes struggled to focus the midday sunlight. Once they did, he was jumped by Mist, the playful Eevee. He caught her laughing as she licked his face. “Good afternoon to you too.”

Ranger was a little amused by this but still picked Mist up by the scruff of her neck to set her down on the grass. “That means you too.” He said giving her a stern look before licking her face.

“Okay.” She said giggling. Mist knew he was still the loveable Absol as always.

Mithro stood up looking down onto Alto from the grassy hill they were on. The flooded streets glistened in the bright sun as people went about their business in town. Ranger had suggested earlier that they should check out this city first if he wanted to search for his true self. The only memories he had were of the past few days with the pokemon around him. Ranger had even given him the name ‘Mithro’ because of his amnesia. The only shred of his past that he had was the fragmented images that found their way into his mind every time he slept.

The sound of marching…pokemon and human alike running…the word ‘Void’ repeated by a different voice every time…and the most vivid image of the red and white eon pokemon, Latias. She held her one of her hands to him but she was getting farther away. Just before he woke up, she called something out to him but was unable to hear it.

A voice interrupted his thoughts as he was pulled back to reality. “Daddy?” said the voice of a small Ralts at his feet. A hint of worry showed on that cute little one.

Mithro put on a smile as he picked up the Ralts onto his shoulder. “I didn’t forget you Lloyd. How could I forget such a cute face?” he joked. Lloyd only hatched a few days ago. Since Mithro was the first thing he saw, Mithro was instantly granted the title of ‘Daddy’.

Ranger and Mist led the way as they began walking to Alto. They stopped for a moment as Ranger called back “If you want to find more about that dream of yours, we should look here. It has a temple for the Eon pokemon, Latios and Latias.”

Mithro quickly closed the distance as they trekked down the hill. A sense of adventure and fear gripped him. It was the first step into discovering himself but there was some worry over what he might find.
