• Chapter one

“Come on,” I cried, “we don’t want to get caught.” The moon was bright tonight, wait wasn’t tonight supposed to be a full moon? I thought to myself. Figures. I crept silently along the perimeter of the lab. We had no idea what was to come of our “trespass” But, after all, I thought to myself, there wasn’t actually a sign saying “NO TRESPASSING” So, we were allowed to be here right? I turned the corner sharply to surprise anyone and take them down. ( I didn’t want to do that, but if it was for my safety, then I would do it.) I screamed. So did the person in front of me. “Amy!” I slapped her. “I thought I told you to keep close!” She rubbed her cheek tenderly. “Sorry” she said quietly. “Lets get out of here before someone comes.” To late. “HEY,” said a stranger in the distance, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?” We both started to run. Left. Right. Another right. Left. I checked the doors along our path. “Here Amy, this ones open. Come on get inside.” We checked for blinds, but there was no need for there went any windows. Click. I locked the door. “Amy turn the lights on would ya? Its pretty dark in here.” The lights turn on. Both Amy and I moaned from the brightness of the lights. When we could see finally we were to speechless to talk. Our lives were about to change.
