• As Susan sobbed in the corner she reluctantly lifted her head up to the cry of her sister. Where was the cry coming from? Susan’s sister had just died in the middle of the night. Nobody knew how Samantha died but the investigators said it was most likely to be a seizure. Samantha was not prone to seizures but she had brutal marks all across her short body. Susan was thinking about how the investigators probably got paid a lot of money just for spending ten minutes to look at her own sister’s dead body. Susan looked around her. Silence. Then once again, a wail for help from her sister. Susan thought that she must have been hearing things, un til her mom came down stairs to check on Susan. “Mom, what is wrong?” Susan asked her mother that had just got done running down the stairs. “I heard you. You were crying- wailing even.” Susan had nothing to say. She couldn’t think of any words to describe what she had just heard. Then, Susan remembered the last words her sister said before she died, “Watch, I can go through walls.” What had she meant? She didn’t go through a wall. She was dead-here. If she could go through walls why didn’t she die there? Susan was frightened. She was glad her mother didn’t say something like, “Are you ok darling? You look puzzled” Then, she was lost. Her mother wasn’t beside her any more. She was in the dark as a figured immerged out of the dark. She saw Samantha. Then, she suddnely started walking torwards her. The words came out of her mouth without thinking about even speaking them, "Where are we?" Then, Samantha spoke, "We are home can't you see?" "No, no I can't see. You are dead, I mean alive, but you shouldn't be. You should be dead!" Susan screamed. Samantha looked up astonished, "Are you saying I am dead. Does it look like I'm dead?!" samantha said. "Ok, if we are home, where is mom? How come I can't see her?" "We can, come." Samantha said. She began walking. She saw her. "Can I touch her?" Susan asked?" "No, you can't" Samantha said. Susan was astonished.
