• It was spring. Flowers and trees were growing, and the greenery all around. A boy named Zen always walked in the the garden of cherry blossoms, and wished often. "I hope I would find my true love under this tree right now. I've wishing the same for three years, yet this wish still didn't come true." Zen whispered to one of the trees. Then suddenly, a girl in a yellow flower-patterned kimono walked by. Then she also whispered the same wish to the tree. "Wait." Zen said to the girl. "Who are you?" "Who are you?" The girl replied, but in a shy way. "Uhmm...I'm Zen. What brings you here, young lady?" "I wish here in this sakura tree for three years every spring...but nothing happens. I believe that every wish here comes true." The girl said. "I'm Mei." "I also have the same reason I'm here. It seems like we are destined to meet." Zen smiled at Mei and then they both chatted under the tree happily.

Then, they became close friends. But, they started to develop feelings for each other. Until nothing in the world can separate them. They didn't realize that some family affair can change their amazing friendship. They met under the tree every now and then.

"Zen," Mei blushed. "Can I ask you something?" "What could it be?" Zen smiled. "Will you accept if I start to have feelings for you?" Mei said. "Of course. Why would I decline such thing the person I love says..." Zen said. And then, under the tree, at exactly sunset, they had their first kiss.

Mei asked her father to walk with her to the garden of cherry blossoms one day. And so, when the two saw each other, Zen introduced his mother to Mei. "Mei, meet my mom. She is happy to see you." Mei smiled and called in her father. She ran off to pull her father's hand. "Zen, this is my dad. He owns this sakura garden before," Mei's dad stared at the eyes of Zen's mom. And then, he started to refresh his memories and he realize that Zen's mom was his ex-girlfriend. "Hina?" "Jun, I'm not your girlfriend anymore. Please stop staring at me." Zen's mom frowned. "You already have your own wife."

Then, Zen and Mei said, "YOU KNOW EACH OTHER?"

Zen's mom explained it. Every detail. And then Mei said, "Well, the past doesn't matter. The important thing is, the friendship between all of us." "Wait. Hina and I separated because she thought I already have a wife. That is your mother, Mei. But your mother loved me so much I couldn't separate with her. Until you were born...and now, Hina is already married and she already has a child." Mei's dad said.

"WAIT A MINUTE!!!" Zen said. "You don't know the truth. Your father doesn't know the truth, Mei!" "I don't have a father."

Zen's mother cried and ran away.

Mei hugged Zen and said, "IS IT TRUE? Who is your father then?" "I don't know. My mom just couldn't tell me why, I'm very curious. I am confident that I have a father." Zen said. Zen ran away from Mei and called her mother. He pulled her hand back to the sakura garden and then said, "Mom, who is my father? WHO IS HE? TELL ME!"

"I just can't accept it if I'm gonna tell it in front of your father and your sister..."

"WHAT?" Zen and Mei became so shocked. "What does that mean to me if I already accepted it?" Zen's mom cried. "What will I do if it already happened? Tell me what to do so that everything from the past will come back again!" "But we need to say this, Zen. They have to know." Mei said. "No. They don't need to. Lovers fight for love, don't they? Then why don't we just do the same!" Zen hugged Mei tight and held her hand. "We shall go out of here and go to a far away place..." "No...no...isn't this a sin?" Mei whispered. "But we can do this even though it is..." Zen said to Mei and pulled her hand and they went to a far place.

Their love lasted forever...until nothing could separate them in their whole life...

    The End
