• Chapter 1. A Love Spell Not Made

I walked out of my flower shop. I smiled warmly. "Come on in! Unbeatable prices for great, fresh flowers!" I yelled hoping for some customers. One. A man stopped and smiled at me. His beautiful blue eyes sparkled at me with admiration. "Hello. You wouldn't know if there was some roses around here?" He asked me with a wink. "Ah. Right in here sir." I smiled back at him pointing into the shop. He walked in and looked at the flowers.

Suddenly we were thrown back. The whole shop fell over. I was pulled out by the man and I gasped in horror at the sight of my shop. I started sobbing. "How will I be able to make money now that my shop was destroyed?" I cried. He looked at me sadly then offered, "I need some...erm....cleaning of my house. My brother is to young. Would you be interested?" "Oh my! Oh yes. But, I might not be the best, but I can clean." I assured him.

We stopped at a small house, not very small, but not very big either. Medium. He took off his coat and beard, then I really gasped. Not in horror, but in surprise. Before me stood a handsome young man. "Oh, I'm sorry. I always wear this when I go outside in the market." He explained. I still had questions, but I wasn't going to ask them all at once.

A young boy came in and asked, "Master Harold, who's that?" He pointed at me. "She's our cleaner. She's going to live here." He replied casually. He stared at me, then stepped forward. "Hello. I'm Jason!" He grinned widely. I smiled back and replied, "I'm Marie. Nice to meet you Jason!" I was led to my room by Jason. Then he left me to get used to it. I sighed. This would be an adventure, I was sure of it.
