• Chapter I

tab The dirt battle field was drenched with crimson blood and lifeless corpses littered the ground. Not a single soul was lef alive on either side except me and that was only because I had killed both armies. I had been made by a group of scientists that worked for the army. They called what I had been made out of living metal.
tab I could call up any weapon I wanted and my body would make it. This also made me very dangerous, especially because of my training. No one could get near me without getting killed so they kept me locked up unless they needed me to fight in a battle for them.
tab I just stood there in the center of the battle field, smiling at my work. My silver hair lay flat on my back as my cold, gray eyes surveyed my surroundings. I took in every mutilated corpse with grim satisfaction. This was my life and I love it all so very much.
tab Suddenly something bit into the back of my neck releasing a seditive into me. Time to go, I thought as the world around me began to fade. I fell to the blood muddied ground and blacked out. I knew that my only surviving creator had shot me so that he could take me back to the base I called home. Even my own creator feared me and none dared touch me unless I had been sedated. They had a good reason to since I had killed all of my other creators except this one.

tab The entire military base was quiet except for the viewing area of the weapon's room. The general and the head scientist were arguing about where to send it next and I was stuck listening to the whole ridiculous thing. However, I was not watching them.
tab My gaze was on the weapon, the Dawn Dancer as they called it, as it slept. I watched its chest rise and fall gentally with each breath it took. Its silver hair was draped around its head like a silver pillow. It looked like no weapon ever had laying there like it was. I could see its skin rippling as if it were liquid and shone slightly like any real metal would.
