• -There Travers was, the plane flying low over Italy. He saw the AA's shooting down the other gliders as they jumped out of the glider. He hit the air, his chute opening instantly.
-Down on the ground, Sergeant Davis had his squad set up a front in the church, barricading the doors with the pews left by the Germans.
-"Travers!" Davis yelled in his radio, "We're trapped in the church! A Panzer is baring down on us as we speak!"
-Davis continued yelling as the Panzer tank blew the front door open, scattering Allied soldiers thin. Davis picked up his Thompson and shot at the infranty accompaning the Panzer.
-Coporal Travers ran through the ruins with the few men he had under his command. He dropped to his knee at the corner and signaled his men to halt.
-"Blakes" Travers said as another soldier ran to him. "Take Philips and Wirth and continue across the road and check out the roads that way. GO!"
-Blakes and two other soldiers ran across the road, Blake going first. Blake was in the center when a gunshot and a sniper trail appeared and Blakes fell to the ground. Philips and Wirth were caught in the middle of the road, held down by a sniper. Travers looked out to try and find the sniper. Another shot zoomed past his head.
-"Hillmen, you're the company sniper. I'll create a distraction and find him. You shoot him down."
-Travers removed his helmet and put it on the gun. He held it out in the road and the sniper fired, hitting the helmet and spinning it around.
-"Hillmen, third floor, center building." Travers said as a sniper ran out and shot the Germen.
-Travers signaled the company to move to the chance and, as they got there, they saw a destroyed Panzer, the Germans dead, and Daivs standing at the church door.
-"About time, boy. Your company will come with my company now. We have to take this town."
-Travers and his men followed Davis' crew as they ran into the huge town, hundreds of gliders landing all over.
