• “The new girl”
    Breakfast was more than delicious.
Well, I had been starving myself for the past 3 weeks. Oh, at times I wish I would die.
I mean, I am probably on the brink of Anorexic now. My body aches every time I eat something and my bones shake when I move. Ohh, the agony. That’s really what I was thinking. And when you’re as “insane” as me… there isn’t anything that can’t kill you anymore.
Voices penetrated my mind, ensnaring my hearing. I glanced over at the door as it opened.
Beautiful; She had long, flowing black hair and soft Hazel eyes that looked like they could kill with just a glance. I tried not to smile, but it was just too damn hard and my lips curled into a crooked, sideways smile. For a moment, I could’ve sworn that her eyes met mine, but she was swept through a side door before I could decide if that was true.
That door. I have never seen anything or anyone brought through that door. Maybe this girl was more insane than I was, but I won’t be sure until I meet her.
I was about to lie back down before a voice caught me.
    “Cody, sit up.”
God damn it. I was more than tired and definitely more than annoyed at this moment.
‘Yes?” I sat myself up, against my own will, of course. I glanced to the side and again, there she was. She was standing by a Nurse’s side and I couldn’t help but scan her beautiful features, my eyes looking her up and down until something caught my eye.
I hadn’t noticed this before, but her face was scarred. Slash marks were carved into her face like Xs. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I thought I was crazy. The question hit me like a bullet.
Does she cut her … face?
