• I could feel the adrenaline pulsing through my veins as i ran at top speed into the unknown of the forest. My heart was beating so hard that i thought that at any given moment it would just burst out of the pressure of work on it. The night was cold and foggy. Wich made it even worst to be in the forest now.
Even though i felt as if at any second i could colaps from the exaustion i felt, I knew that this was nothing compared to what would happen to me if i was to stop now.
So aginst every part of me i ran on. I pushed the building heaveyness away from my mind so i wouldn't be slowed. I needed all my lasting strength to run.
As I ran on and on through the forest i could see that the trees and the plantation on the forest floor was all but blurrs passing me in shades of dard green, grey, and black. I could hear my footfalls, and breathing. They were so loud that i thought if nothing else it would be easyer to be found.
It was hard enough to just run for this long. Add in all the fallen trees, and rocks that lay in my path and you have a problem for even star athleats.
Even with the trouble faceing me now and the impending one to come, I kept my pace without a stop.
I could see that the forest went on for miles in every direction. I don't know how far i have ran so far, all i know is that every map that i have seen of this forest in the past, i should be comming up on the other side soon.
Though this hope gave me a moment of happyness, i knew that i must not let myself get distracted. For if i stop now i will most certinly not get out.
As i ran i can hear the faint footfalls of THEM comming after me. It didn't matter that i got that head start. They know this forest and they know im running. There was nothing about it, they were gaining.
My legs burned so much that they feel as if they would fall of any second. I so wish i was able to stop and rest them. Just to make the pain subside. I know thats not possiable now. I must push on.
I can hear their steps, and that they are now closer. It seems like this is it. They are going to catch up and get me. Its going to be all over. They are faster than me and i knew that. I just thought that i had some sort of chance.
When all hope seems to vanish, in a split second a new hope appered. In the close distance I could see it. It was what this whole thing was for. I know its going to be worth it and i knew that to begin with. Now that its in my reach i just couldn't belive it. It was now just a few more strides away. I was going to make it out and away from them.
Being at the end of the pain and at the last part of my journey i some how found the strength to speed up and off to the end. This was the best feeling in the world. Free at last!
Then as quickly and it appeared, it vanished. They compleatly blocked it out. They had caught me.
I skidded to a stop and turned to ran in the opposite direction. Hopefully to find a different way out. It was a lost cause. I turned just to find that i was surrounded. Traped. There was no way to get out of this now.
I looked around franticly at every singal face. Only i didn't see their faces. They where all in black clokes with hoods over thier heads. All that shown of their faces, where their menicing blood red eyes. I stared horror struck, and they just stared back. No one moved. The only sound was my hearts loud beets that I swear someone 100's of yard away could hear.
Then in my perifural vision, the tallest one there stepped out of the circle only to take 1 step forword. The circle only titened around the two of us now.
I turned so i was now faceing him who i presumed was the leader.
He took a diliberit step closer to me. Instinktivly i steped as far as i could back to get away from his advance. Little good that did.
I turned my back to him so i could try to run through the blockade. Bad move.
He closed the distance between us in only 3 steps. Grabed my arms and held them behind my back. I tryed my hardest to wiggle away but his hands had a hold nothing could break. It was impossiable to get free now.
As i tryed to struggle away he inclined his head so he could wisper in my ear.
In a low menicing tone he said "We told you not to run. Didn't work now did it?" He laughed and the whole circle joined in. This was not anything good.
I turned my head away from his laughing in my ear and then blackout.
