• Mia sighed as she glared at her empty plate though her long black bangs. Her small fingers tightened on her jeans as the emotions ran though her again, overwhelming her for a moment. She flexed her fingers, calming the room quickly. She gazed at the table next to her with clouded blue eyes.

She pulled up the hood of her black jacket, covering her porcelain face from view.
Mia was 4’11 with waist length black hair and clear dark blue eyes. She was pale, almost milky white, with perfectly arched eyebrows and full, pink lips.

She wasn’t completely human; she had her father’s blood in her. Vampire; She was known to the Vampire Race as the Princess, her father the Head of the world wide coven.

“Mia!” A high, soft voice yelled, running toward the Princess, dancing up to her with an unusual movement of footsteps.

Her cropped black hair falling, into he r violet eyes as she danced toward her best friend. Makayla was Mia’s best friend, being completely Vampire; Makayla is the only person Mia can trust with her life.

“Yeah, Kayla?” Mia asked softly, her voice sounded like a melody as it came from her.

Makayla grinned, showing her sharp fangs.

“We’re going clubbing.” She announced proudly.

Mia’s eyes widened slightly. “Why? You know my father wouldn’t go for it.” Mia said her voice slightly, panicked.

Makayla rolled her purple eyes, clearly annoyed that her best friend wouldn’t have more faith in her.

“That’s why Jason and Nate are coming.” She said, happily.

Mia’s heart skipped a beat when Kayla mentioned Jason.

Lately, Mia couldn’t even breathe near him. She would blush when he talked to her, she was completely speechless. She had butterflies in her stomach when he wrapped his arms around her shoulder or waist. She was a princess in love.

Makayla raised an arched eyebrow at her friend, knowing that she had lost her friend to her crazy and jumbled thoughts.

Makayla giggled softly, her cheeks turning a slight pink in the dark lighting of the Café. She knew how much Mia liked Jason, and vice versa. Jason had a crush on Mia since the first time they had met; 50 years ago.

Mia jumped slightly, being thrown back into the present by a slight kick at her thigh. She raised an eyebrow at her friend but didn’t acknowledge it.

Makayla laughed softly, her bell like voice chiming. Makayla got up, grabbed Mia’s forearm, and tugged.

Mia sighed, got up, and followed her excited friend toward her darkly tinted Mercedes.

Mia watched as Makayla danced toward the passenger side, her feet barely touching the stone floor beneath her.

Mia sighed and shook her head, her hair following her movements slightly before she climbed into the driver’s side and started the car.

The soft purring turned into a growl as Mia pushed hard on the Gas pedal, making it fly across the stone street quickly, faster than the legal limit by 70.

Makayla smiled softly as she watched her friend, completely in control. One thing about Vampires, they loved speed.

Mia laughed as Makayla turned on the radio as she sped across the highway toward the outskirts of the city.

She put on her dark sunglasses as she shrugged off her hoodie, showing her black tank top underneath, showing a sliver of her flat white stomach and her thin shoulders.

Makayla grinned as the trees started to thin into mass plains of grass and fields. They were out of the city by now, following an old dirt path into the woods.

The stone walls of the mansion were the first thing to be revealed from the tree tops. Over 7,000 feet of complete hard rock.

Mia pulled into a wide cleared drive way and drove down the pathway of trees toward the front of the mansion, slowly creeping into the front of the house. Mia turned her key and the purring of the car stopped.

Makayla took off her seatbelt and climbed out quickly, too keyed up to be locked into the small car any longer.

She pulled Mia out of the car and ran into the large glass doors.

The entry way was expensive, to say the least. Glass chandeliers hung on the ceiling, white tiled floor under their feet. A mass amount of Paintings aligned the walls, showing different family portraits of the same family in different time periods.

Mia laughed silently, her small shoulder trembling slightly. Makayla laughed and pulled her bestie up the grand golden staircase and into her room in the hallway.

Mia rolled her eyes and dropped her jacket on her white floor as she pushed open the large pearl white door that lead to her Chambers.

Her room was, Large. About the same size as a living room in a large house. The north wall was replaced with glass, overlooking her large and vast backyard that seemed to stretch on into the mountains.

The walls were a deep blue, with two doors, one leading to her bathroom, and the other leading to her large closet.

The large queen sized bed claimed most of the space in the east wall, her computer desk with her black laptop on the other wall across.

The large vanity/dresser was pushed on the same wall as the door that leads into the hallway.

Makayla disappeared suddenly, off into the closet as Mia walked over to her bed.

Mia curled up on the end, her blanket wrapped around her slim form, as she stared intently at her friend as she ransacked her closet.

Makayla was standing in front of Mia’s large closet, deciding on what Mia should wear tonight. She knew Jason loved light blue on her, it made her look lovely.

Kayla crinkled her nose in distaste as she stared at the wide selection of Ball Gowns that were used for special occasions. Those dresses were expensive, made of real gold and silver.

Makayla grinned in victory when she saw the perfect clothing for Mia.

Makayla gently took it off the hanger and threw it at her Best Friend with a fierce order of, “Put it on.”

Mia sighed and picked up the clothing Kayla had thrown at her and disappeared into her bathroom to change.

Mia sighed as she leaned against the door, her hair spilling onto the expensive tile at her feet. She sighed and stared down at her knees, suddenly feeling over whelmed again.
    She needed to relax.

She turned toward her shower and turned on the water, letting the water run before it got warm enough for her.

She slipped off her jeans and shirt, along with her under garments, and slipped into the boiling hot water, loving the feeling of it pounding against her sore back and thighs.

She hurried though her shower and dressed quickly. She raised her eyebrow as she stared at herself in her full length mirror in her room.

The shirt was blood red, ended at her navel, and was V-necked, dipping low so it showed cleavage.
The jeans weren’t any better. Makayla had made her friend either wear a thong or go Commando, Mia quickly took the black laced thong from her friend with a heaving sigh.

Kayla had made Mia wear a pair of black flats, knowing how big a Klutz Mia was.

Makayla came out of the bathroom a few seconds later, dressed down in a small mini skirt, knee-high boots, and a deep black tube top. On any girl, it would have looked horrible. On Kayla, it looked like it was made for her.

The shirt hugged her killer curves, and the boots made her legs look a mile long.

    Kayla grinned at her friend.

Mia’s shirt dipped low enough to show some lace of her black bra, the shirt hugging the curves the Princess only dreamed of having. The jeans hung low on her hips, showing the sliver of her flat pale stomach, the sides of the Black laced thong as it was placed high on her ‘rockin’ hips.

Mia smiled softly when she noticed Makayla.

At least I’m not the only one. She thought, tasting the emotions for a quick moment. Makayla’s excitement radiated out of her tall frame like tears, fast and for the most part, Silent.

Makayla grinned and pulled Mia back into her bathroom.

“Sit.” She ordered, pointing towards the little black chair that was in front of the mirror.
Mia sighed and followed her friend’s order.

For the next hour or so, Mia was curled, plucked, and applied to.

Makayla pulled back, examining her work. She grinned and turned the chair around so Mia could see her reflection in the mirror.

Of course, Makayla wasn’t seen, just an empty spot next to her, even when Makayla was right there, watching Mia with watchful eyes.

Mia’s long black hair was curled and messy, giving it the ‘Sex’ hair look. Her big blue eyes seemed brighter with the black eye shadow and mascara. Her lips were plumped, and blood red. She smiled timidly, her fangs lightly grazing her bottom lip.

“Thanks.” She whispered her eyes wide. Makayla giggled and pulled Mia up.

“My turn!” She squealed, handing Mia the curling iron and her make-up bag.
Mia smiled and began working on Kayla.

When she finished, Kayla’s short cropped black hair was smoothed, and curled at the ends. Her purple eyes were smothering with the same black eye shadow as Mia. Her lips were painted pink, like fresh roses waiting to be picked.

A soft knock that seemed like butterfly touches came from the door. Mia ducked her head, a blush rising to her cheeks. She knew who was at the door.

Makayla smiled and walked over, opening the door and smiling at Jason and Nate.

“We’re ready.” She announced, walking back over to Mia and linking their elbows together.

Mia smiled softly at Jason; his shaggy brown and his liquid Golden eyes made any girl sway on their feet. He was dressed in his Goth attire, blank chain pants, black button-down shirt and his Combat boots.

Nate was dressed similar to Jason; Black Skinny jeans and a Slip Knot band shirt. His original Converse on his feet. His blond hair falling, into his deep black eyes.

Kayla smiled softly as Nate grabbed her hand.

Jason smiled softly at the beauty in front of his eyes. She looked like a Goddess in his eyes.

Mia blushed when she noticed Jason’s eyes on her’s

“You look Lovely.” He said, his accent dripping.

Mia smiled. “Thanks.” She whispered, her own Italian accent flowing gently, caressing the words with the gentle touch.

Jason lightly grabbed her hand and walked her down the stair case into the entry way.

Mia frowned when she noticed her father.

“Father, what’s wrong?” She asked worriedly. Her father looked over and sighed, clearly upset.

“I have to go to America, sweetheart. There’s a coven there and they have been breaking the rules.”

Mia sighed and nodded. Her father always traveled, they barely had any time together since her mother died. He kissed her forehead before he disappeared out the door.

“Okay….Let’s roll.” Makayla said, getting the car keys from her pocket as she pulled Nate and Mia outside with Jason following.

Makayla smiled as she found the car she wanted to take out tonight.

The midnight blue Mustang, one of her favorites. She ran toward the driver’s side, leaving the other three looking at her weirdly.

Kayla shrugged with a slight blush. “What? I like this car.” She said sheepishly.

Mia laughed and climbed into the passenger seat, leaving the backseat open for Nate and Jason.

Nate muttered, “So not fair. We’re taller.” He climbed into the backseat impishly.

    Jason followed.
